I'm getting a bug where my projects don't seem to be saving when I use the Save/Save As function on the main page.

Can others confirm this bug too please?

Bug confirmed, Windows 7, opens a browse for folder dialgue before asking for a file name, saves nothing regardless of where I point it

Feel free to send me an update for testing would be very handy to have before this sat, hope your gig went well.

looking into it. can you please try this:

1. create a new folder on the desktop (the name doesn't matter).

2. in Kinectar, click "new", when it pops up with the browse for folder dialogue and open the newly created folder.

does it give you the "select folder" option in the box?

3. if it does, when you click select, you will get another dialogue box asking you to create a name for the project. when you click okay after typing a name, it will create a directory with that name within the directory you selected previously and populate it with the necessary project files.

Also, same behavour for 'Save-as' function

*edit* just found a test installation on another pc from a few releases ago, 0.6.1 to be precise, that version saves in JSON format... I likey likey)

No directory has been created and no way to load the saved project.

Hey guys. I'm really sorry about the lack of updates. I had a rather large break from Kinectar doing other projects. I'm looking into the save issue now for the next update.

I´m new on this, but I think I´ve found a solution for the problem.
Here´s what I did:

I created a folder, I opened Kinectar and draged the folder to the program interface. Then I clicked on "save" and the folder filled with the project files.

It worked ok on Windows 7 with the latest version of Kinectar.

Does it work for you?

I'm very close to releasing a new build of Kinectar which should address this issue finally. Stay tuned.
